What it is
The look of your event page. Every event wears a theme — an animated background and a colour treatment that sets the tone before anyone reads a word.
Pick one from your event page. It changes immediately, and you can change it as often as you like, before or after publishing.
What you control
Open your event and find Visual Theme. Pick one, preview it live on the page behind the picker, and save.
There are fourteen to choose from, covering most moods an event has — from Glowing Orbs and Ocean Deep through to VHS Glitch and Dimensional Portal.
Commissioned themes
Some themes are built for one organizer. If you have commissioned one, it appears in your picker marked Custom, spanning the full width so it does not sit among the stock effects.
Nobody else sees it. A commissioned theme belongs to whoever paid for it, and is not offered to other organizers.
If you would like one made for your brand or venue, get in touch.
How it behaves
Changing it is instant and safe
Your theme is presentation only. Changing it affects nothing about your tickets, your orders, or anything already sold. Change it the morning of the show if you want to.
Your theme keeps working
Once your event is published on a theme, it stays on it. That holds even if:
- the theme is retired and no longer offered to anyone new, or
- a commissioned arrangement comes to an end.
Your page keeps drawing, and you keep being able to edit your event normally. What changes is only that the theme stops appearing as a new choice.
If your event is on a retired theme, you will still see it in your picker — marked Archived — so you can see what you are on and move off it if you want. Moving off is one way: once you leave a retired theme you cannot go back to it.
Good to know
The theme is the background, not the layout. Your cover image, poster, lineup and text all sit on top of it and look the same whichever you pick. If the page is not looking how you want, the theme is usually not the thing to change.
Pick for legibility as well as mood. Some of the busier backgrounds compete with a detailed poster. Preview with your real cover image in place rather than on an empty page.
Your attendees see your theme everywhere. The event page, the checkout, the confirmation and the ticket all carry it, so your event looks like itself all the way through the purchase.
